South Korea Summit

This is a sandbox session designed to help attendees learn about the power of extensions, apps, and add-ons for Google Chrome and Drive, as well as taking a brief look Google+. The session will focus on their uses in and out of classroom environments.

Many teachers receive dozens if not hundreds of emails each day that could be handled in a much more streamlined manner. By combining the collaboration tool of Slack with integrated Google Suite applications, teams can avoid unnecessary emails and meetings while increasing their productivity and lowering stress.

I will give a brief overview of Slack's success in workgroups, followed by lots of time to learn how to use Slack in a hands-on, step-by-step process. This will be more workshop than presentation, featuring video overviews of what's possible with a chance to try it out for yourself.

Come and learn how you can transform your classroom and productivity through the use of these tools and their addons! We’ll look at everything from Formule and Flubaroo, to Autocrat, SiteMaestro and more. This session will be an introductory to intermediate overview to the use of Google Sheets, Forms and their Addons.

A sandbox session designed to explore the power of virtual field trips using the NEW Google Earth, Expeditions (and Expeditions VR), Google Tour Builder, Google Maps and more. We will take look at how CREATE digital trips that allow students and educators to tear down the walls of the traditional classroom.
